Christ talked a lot during his priesthood about sex. It was still, even back then, the most wonderful thing going. Yes there was even rape and child sex going on. But Jesus knew that the admonishment against hogwild sex was more than just a blind "Don't do it cause I said so!" As we say in other parts of this sit, God has his reasons for what he does, and what he forbids, and we are not always meant to know. So let's see, first, why Jesus warned against having sex with a divorced woman. You might notice first thing that he doesn't talk ever about divorced men. Such a thing didn't exist in ancient Israele. Only a woman could be divorced and usually because she had been unfaithful. It was one step short of having her stoned for adultery and I don't mean they gave her a blunt.
